I'm not very familiar with BRP, but I imagine the Player's Guide and the Bestiary would be as difficult as any other Savage Worlds product on the market. While the Player's Guide does have a large quantity of character options and game mechanics, it also has a large chunk of descriptive text detailing the world. The Gazetteer can be taken as is without much conversion at all as it is mostly detailing the world itself.

Thanks for the comments, Wiggy. I should have mentioned that in the review. I guess I should have also stated that I was confused as to why they were split across two books.

Seriously, I think I wore out my DVD copy of The 13th Warrior. I've had it for years, and I listen to the soundtrack regularly. Seeing the references throughout the books makes them that more awesome.

You're absolutely welcome. I appreciate being given the opportunity to review these books. My only remaining complaint is not having the time to run or play in another campaign.

Just a quick word on the Evil Organizations: we put the more friendly ones in the PG so players would have immediate access to them.

As for the 13th Warrior quotes (which appear in several Hellfrost products), it's one of my all-time favorite movies. :)

Thanks for the review. Like other Hellfrost reviews you've done, this was very good. I'll get my books tomorrow and I just finished watching The 13. Warrior. Can't wait anymore. :)
